Is the Honda CR-Z a fine piece of hybrid technology?

The Honda CR-Z has been a sports style hybrid vehicle that has been produced by the Honda brand since 2010. Over the years it has been a good seller as far as hybrid vehicles are concerned but has the rapid amount of new hybrids going on sale over the years found the CR-Z looking a little lost or does it still remain as an ideal choice for many customers around the world?. Well in our opinion, the CR-Z is still a good strong vehicle that gives the hybrid market a good name. There is no doubt that Honda are one of the best manufactures in the world and they have demonstrated this time and time again in both the motorcycle and car world. In our opinion, the CR-Z is definitely a great value for money vehicle as it offers some of the finest in technology and good hybrid power. So what special highlights have helped the CR-Z along when it comes to challenging other big contenders on the market such as the likes of the BMW i3 and the Audi e-tron range?.

The good strong selling points of the Honda CRZ

So when we look at the kind of features that have brought the CRZ to the dance, the CR-Z was only offered with one engine range and that was the 1.5 litre V-TEC engine which sees 119 brake horse power produced. An electric motor also runs alongside the engine and sees 19bhp produced. The CRZ can be chosen in one of four trim levels but no matter which trim option you decide to spend your money on, you can expect some reasonably good levels of kit. As far as standard equipment is concerned for entry level models you can expect to find the likes of daytime running LED lights, climate control, sixteen inch alloy wheels and and a leather steering wheel. The higher the trim level the better the equipment as demonstrated by new addition such as Bluetooth connectivity and a built in sat nav system with higher level trims.

Overall the Honda brand are very generous with the specifications and performance output from the CR-Z but does the price tag to come along with the car accommodate the specification list?.

For what cost does the Honda CR-Z come in at?

We are pleased to let you know that the entry level model in the range that we were mentioning with generous equipment can be purchased from a figure of £21,125 and you can expect prices to climb up to £24,670 for the range topping model which includes all the aforementioned pieces of kit aswell as a panoramic sunroof and a full leather interior cabin. The Honda CR-Z is on sale now and can be purchased from your local Honda showroom.
